DUES

I think before we discuss collecting or not collecting dues, it's important to go over what the dues will be used for, who will be handling the dues, how often they'll be collected ... and other things of that nature. I'm all for dues, but it's important for me to know in what I'm investing my dinero : )

AS I SAID IN THE FIRST MEETING DUES WILL BE FOR WHEN WE WANT TO TRAVEL AND THINGS OF THAT SORT. I'VE PLANNED ALOT OF THINGS WE'RE ABOUT TO START A GEORGIA CHAPTER IN WHICH WE WILL BE HAVING TO TRAVEL. I THINK ITS IMPORTANT TO COLLECT DUES. ALSO WHEN WE WANT TO HOST A PARTY OR SOMETHING IT DOESNT HAVE TO COME RIGHT OUT OF POCKET IT CAN COME FROM THE ACCOUNT. WE HAVE TO FIND SOMEONE WE CAN TRUST TO OPEN A BANK ACCOUNT I ALREADY HAVE ONE BUT I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE SOMEONE ELSE OPEN ONE AND WHO IS WILLING WE WILL DISCUSS AT THE MEETING THAT WAY WE CAN KNOW ABOUT EVERYTHING. IF DUES R COLLECTED WE WILL ALL MAKE SURE THAT PERSON IS RESPONSIBLE AND WONT STEAL FROM US.

i believe that dues are ok, as long as we are doing something with the money, and not just anything.
with dues we can plan trips, parties, etc, with everyone having a part in it.
